PS3 WU's
I know there is no way to get exact RCG numbers if it's not the last WU your PS3 did. But is it possible to know if the/a P4044 my PS3 completed this morning at 2:30AM CST or so was accepted? Haven't seen it yet in the stats? The P4043's after it were all credited thou.
I really need to start writing down the PRCG numbers for my PS3 WU's at least.

Re: PS3 WU's
This one, maybe? P4044 R25 C9 G10. The server has it, but I don't recall how to check if you were credited or not. Looks like your client tried to return it twice.

Re: PS3 WU's
Probably is that one. I've had bad luck with those long ones lately. That's the third one I did this week. The last two always got interrupted by power surges and power outages. If the server has it I'll just let it do it's thing and give it some time. Thanks for the info. No credit for it so far thou.

Hello Baowoulf:
According to the stats database, your machine returned Project 4044, Run 25, Clone 9, Gen 10 for full credit on 5/31 and again for zero credit on 6/2.
I wish that game console kept a queue and a FAHlog! We don't have much to go on to debug this one.
BTW, how long does your PS3 generally take to complete a 1250-point unit like this p4044?

Re: PS3 WU's
That's incorrect. I had a small surge probably do to remaining storms while I was doing my second P4044 for this week. Then after the surge when I got F@H back up I think I had a few P4043 and then it started another P4044. It's been a screwed up week.susato wrote:Hello Baowoulf:

First P4044 started the Saturday before last Saturday. Then when it was almost done on the Sunday my power went out for 3 hours. I lost this one.
Second P4044 started on Friday I think and then I had a small flicker which made me lose that one.
I got my third P4044 on Saturday night after the power surge and this one actually was completed on June 2.
For some reason even thou they were incomplete I still got 1,250 full credit for the first two P4044's but ironically when I finally finished one on June 2 2:30AM CST I haven't received any credit.
Usually it takes 1day and 8 hours to do a P4044 and for P4024 and P4025 it takes maybe 1day and 18-20hours.
I wonder if it mixed up my third P4044 with my second P4044 and so gave me 0 points instead of 1,250.

Re: PS3 WU's
No luck I guess. I know it counted on my local count. Could the server have confused it with the results that were sent after my power surge a couple days prior? It didn't finish until June 2nd 2:30AM CST.
Re: PS3 WU's
Are you referring to this one, P4044 R25 C9 G10?
It was credited on 5/31 for full credit, and again for zero credit on 6/2.
Apparently it was close enough on 5/31, and the server received something, and gave you full credit for it. You will only receive credit for it once.

Re: PS3 WU's
No that was the second, I thought it was the third one I did but I was wrong. That one ended on Saturday after I booted up my PS3 after a power surge.
After I got my PS3 back up it transmited the results it had of the second P4044 and then started on a P4043 and after that one or the next it started on the third P4044 which finished on June 2 at 2:30AM.

There is really no way for us to tell without the P,R,C,G numbers.Baowoulf wrote:it started on the third P4044 which finished on June 2 at 2:30AM.

All I can tell you is this:
We found the following results
Donor: Baowoulf
Total WUs from project 4404: 7
Total credit from project 4404
(rounded to the nearst point value): 105<~~~ This # is not correct, so just ignore it. We need to investigate this a bit.

I figured as much but I thought I'd try anyways just to see. I've started writing down all my PRCG numbers now. Thanks for trying thou.MstrBlstr wrote:There is really no way for us to tell without the P,R,C,G numbers.Baowoulf wrote:it started on the third P4044 which finished on June 2 at 2:30AM.

Re: PS3 WU's
Why is it not correct? According to http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummary.html project 4404 is worth 15 points and its GROSIMT. Last time I checked, 7x15=105.We found the following results

Total WUs from project 4404: 7
Total credit from project 4404

The real question is whether we're talking about 4404 or 4044. It's 4044 that's a GRO-PS3 project.
As I see it, you've completed four 4044 and seven 4404 . . . plus one or more that were submitted twice for zero credit.

Re: PS3 WU's
The ones I am talking about are P4044. They each had a time of 1day and 8hours or so until completion. Unless P4404 takes a similar amount of time but at 15points that sounds like a CPU WU not a PS3 one.

Re: PS3 WU's
Happened on another PS3 WU. For some reason my PS3 only seems to like returning P4043.
This time it was P4016 (Run 5, Clone 11 Generation 52). It was finished around 9:27PM CST Friday June 6, 2008.
Would there be some reason bigger WU's aren't getting through when they are returned? Since P4043 is a fast one I'm guessing it's smaller then some of the other PS3 WU's in size.

Re: PS3 WU's
I can't say if size is the determining factor or not. Look up the projects on the Project Summary page and note the server address. Then go to the Server Status page and see if there's a indication that one or more of the PS3 servers are having trouble.Baowoulf wrote:Would there be some reason bigger WU's aren't getting through when they are returned?
