Help is on the way folks! Hang in there.I did take a quick look at the code and it's only handling the PyON to JSON transform from "None" to "null". There is no provision to transform boolean values from "True" to "true" or "False" to "false". I thought that provision was there but it is not; Joseph is spot on. That said, this should be an easy fix. I'll do my best to get a fix together as soon as possible. It's just a bit difficult right now since I'm spending the vast majority of my free time at my fiances house or my new house I'm renovating, which is not where my test machines and development resources are located. Hence we're both moving to a new, bigger home, hopefully in the next 4 to 6 weeks. That said, I'll do my best to get this together before then.
Also, I have some other fixes in place. The issue with duplicate entries in the WU History has been fixed and HFM will go through a database upgrade when the new version is started. There's also support for the latest GPU core that came out many months back.

I have been in contact with the HFM developer to notify him of the issue with the 7.4 release. With his permission to reprint, here is what he had to say:

ditto. HFM.net has been invaluable to me over the years, and am glad it will be updated with the new FAH Client.
Besides the real-time synoptic view of all of my folding slots, the Work Unit History Database has given me fodder for a number of statistical analyses of performance.

I just had a chat with the HFM author and he is just finishing up his computer lab at his new residence. We can look forward to some work being done on HFM in the near future. Soon (tm PG labs)

Otherwise, as the first post in this thread instructs, you can contact him directly in the HFM google group. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/hfm-net

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7
Update from the developer:
Hopefully he really means soon as opposed to soon (tm Stanford)Good news! I've found the memory leak!!! So, what does that mean? It means that in the latest revisions of the code, and specifically due to the rework I did with the SQLite WU History back end, I coded in a pretty nasty memory leak. I spent pretty much all day Sunday finding the leak and then verifying it yesterday. Thankfully my kids were tired enough on Sunday that they didn't (totally) destroy my house while I was ignoring them. Now, I have to fix it. Which I hope to do very soon. Really, soon... I mean it. I've got my head back into it right now and I want to get you guys who rely on HFM and support HFM an update so you can stay current with Stanford.
Before I decided to sit down and try to track down the leak I had considered fixing the existing release code with the patch to process the PyON messages coming from the new v7 release... but I'd rather just release one update. There are some major fixes with the WU History that I'd like to see out in the wild. It would certainly make the feature usable again in contrast to the state it's in now.
Thanks again for your support!

That's great news! Looking forward to the update. As long as no one tells harlam357 the other meaning of soon, we should be fine

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7
Hey guys,
First of all, let me be the first to say thank you for all of your help and assistance. Without all of you I know that this wouldn't be as much as a success as it is. I have read various articles and posts as to how to setup FAHClient V7.3.6. with HFM.net but I have a bit of confusion that maybe you guys can help me figure out. So my situation that I am having (and I will try to be as specific as possible with hardware, software, and my specific needs) is that I am running FAHClient 7.3.6. on 2 separate computer (but both are on the same network. Computer 1 is connected VIA Wifi and computer 2 is connected to the network VIA a wired connection directly to the Wifi Range extender. My gracious neighbor has allowed me to use his internet connection in assistance of this noble cause. So his router is a ASUS RT-AC68U Wireless-AC1900 Dual Band Gigabit Router IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n and I am using a Netgear Wifi Range Extender Model: WN2000RPTv2. Folding Rig 2 connects to the Netgear Range extender directly via a Ethernet cable but Folding Rig 1 connects to it via a Netgear N150 Wireless USB Adapter Model: WNA1100. I run the HFM.net only on my Folding Rig 2 and have it pick up my FAHClient V7 from Folding Rig 1 via the wifi alone. My problem is to configure it I used IP addresses for both computers but since they are constantly changing the IP Address I would Like to configure it to connect to the computer by the computer name which I have heard is possible. If Not then I am open to any suggestions and all of your help will be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Please note that you have two options:
1) Very Easy - Find out the hostname of the computer (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/15821/ho ... nd-prompt/) and replace the IP Address field with the hostname.
2) Not Very Easy - Change the system's dynamic IP Address to Static IP Address (http://www.ciscopress.com/articles/arti ... ?p=1393495).

You can also install something that provides multicast dns (zeroconf, avahi, bonjour) and use hostname.local.
If you install any Apple software on both machines, such as iTunes or Safari, you should get Bonjour for Windows installed with it.
