While searching the web for information on Parkinson's disease, I stumbled upon this fascinating site, (i.e. "Medical News Today"), which is chock full of very well written articles on the latest research breakthroughs on just about every disease imaginable. Here is an article I stumbled across highlighting new protein folding software that has been developed by a team at Rice University.

There is a very good 6:32 video interview and animation with Dr. Peter Wolynes following the text of the article. Here are a few more interesting articles on the site. (I wonder if Dr. Wolynes and his team are collaborating with the Pande Group?)

Very neat stuff! I especially like the video. The PandeScience channel should put something that informative and fascinating out on YouTube.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.

I wonder what hardware they are using for this? Also curious what efficiency they've achieved with that software they have. Might be listed in the paper, but I'll read that when I'm in the library and have more time. (http://www.pnas.org/content/110/5/1680)
