Does that mean a different benchmarking machine was used for these WU to that used for the uniprocessor ones?
My original question relates to benchmarking the WU, not how many points they are awarded.

The details of the machine used for benchmarking projects is listed here - http://folding.stanford.edu/English/FAQ-PointsNew. They have normalized between the different machines used over the years so that base points awarded will be the same for equivalent work. Given when the current machine was put into service, the same should have been used on all of these A4 WU's. As I Understand it, benchmarking is used to set the points, not the deadlines.

Set the base points, not the deadline. Hybrid UNI/SMP a4 work units can have the same base points but longer deadlines than purely SMP a4 workunits. So the points curve on the bonus is slightly different.
