Linux GPU Folding Timeframe?

Anyone have any idea of when GPU Folding on Linux might me a reality???

Last I heard, Dr. Pande and his team were looking into it, but specifically said that there wasn't a promise of it, nor an ETA. viewtopic.php?nomobile=1&f=16&t=21367&start=15#p213602

Thanks for the link.

I want to add more machines using GPU's (I have enough parts for at least two cpu's and 3 GPU's) but I don't want to have to fork out a coupke hundred bucks for Windows for them to run on!

WinXP is very cheap, not a few hundred. See any of the auction sites. ;)

If you're thinking about NVidia, yes. If you're thinking about ATI/AMD, they've removed OpenCL from their WinXP driver -- which will limit your choices to older drivers.
