Project description for 7808 and 7809

Why are there no descriptions for the projects themselves? The descriptions go straight to "Other details" with no explanation about the project. http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/fah ... ned?p=7808 and http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/fah ... ned?p=7809

Edit : On the other hand, project 8001's description is written twice http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/fah ... ned?p=8001, and I'm sure 8001 isn't the only one I've seen.

As you can see from the description, Christian Schwantes is the manager for 7808 and 7809. Here's when he first released them: viewtopic.php?f=66&t=19287&start=0 and the description is there, but not on the official site. Probably just a simple mistake and if he becomes aware of the issue perhaps he'll fix it for us. As V7 shows project descriptions, it's getting pretty important to make sure they're right!

Where is 8001's description written twice? I'm failing to see duplicated text.

Typical. When I report a problem it disappears. I swear I saw duplicated text (compared them closely character by character to make sure they were exact duplicates). I closed and reopened it multiple times and it was still there. This wasn't the first time nor the only project I saw duplicated text. Maybe something wrong with my browser (Chrome 19)?

Edit : Found another one on 8042. I edited out my browser window, taskbar, everything else. I included only the page screenshot.

I know how that goes. Been there, done that. I'm running Chrome 19.0.1084.52m.

Any idea why that happened? Seems to be appearing and disappearing at will

For several days I also have strange problems with my browser (Chrome 19.0.1084.52 m). On screen text passages merge or diverge. Helps several times refresh the page

Apparently it does. The same double description is also showing for Project 8041. Since I am not using Chrome as my browser, the issue appears to be on the website entry.

The source code is duplicated. Maybe it's a typo, maybe it's a PHP error of some kind, I don't know. My laptop picked up a 8041, and the duplication is there as well.

Yes it's on the 8041. And possibly some others we haven't spotted. Do you think anyone can be contacted about that (not sure it's important enough for that)?

I am running 80** series of projects on FAH. Bruce informed me last night about the duplicate descriptions. We need to look at the reason for the duplicate descriptions. It's not a typo.
I found an easy but temporary fix for the problem. I fixed some of them last night. I have fixed the duplicate versions of all of my project descriptions now. Let me know if you find any other project with duplicate descriptions.
