Not sure what happened here, the machine had been off for a clean, fired it back up - ran an a4 wu OK on v7, shut that down started v6 and got this with the 1st WU.

Machine has been running F@h for 8 month for me and at least a year before that for a fellow team member, no overclock and no previous failed WU on core A3,A4 or A5.

System specs:- Asus Z8NA M/B, dual L5640 ES hex core xeon's, 6gb ram, ubuntu 10.10 & the kraken

You are definitely not the problem here and this is definitely a bad WU. Thank you for reporting it.

The WU (P6903,R7,C10,G71) has been reported as a bad WU. Note that the list of reported WUs are stopped daily at 8am pacific time.
