Re: CLIENT_DIED
I think it would be helpful if you posted the log. Please do so in between Code tags. That we can have a better understanding of what happens and give you a more detailed answer. Thanks.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.
Re: CLIENT_DIED
ill do so if it happens again. multiple restarts didnt help, until i waited about 2 or 3 minutes before opening the client again.

Re: CLIENT_DIED
That sounds suspiciously like a heat related issue. I'd try stock speeds first, then memtest, then be looking for hot spots in my box.hiigaran wrote:ill do so if it happens again. multiple restarts didnt help, until i waited about 2 or 3 minutes before opening the client again.
Good luck,
Dana
Of course, I could be wrong....
- AMD 1090t Win7/64 2xGTX460 SMP + 2xGPU
- Intel U7300 LMDE/64 2xUniprocessor
Re: CLIENT_DIED
definitely not heat related. my GPU was at about 85 degrees when it happened. its normally at 90. anyway, it hasnt happened since
Re: CLIENT_DIED
Sounds suspiciously like you're trying to restart the client before the core has finished shutting down. When you stop the client, the other processes need to clean up their files and do an orderly termination to prevent file corruption, and MUST prevent a new process from opening the files before they've been closed.hiigaran wrote:ill do so if it happens again. multiple restarts didnt help, until i waited about 2 or 3 minutes before opening the client again.
With Task Manager running, sorting Processes by Image Name, stop the client. Watch the other processes with names starting with FAH--- and see how long they keep running. Wait until they've stopped before trying to restart FAH. It shouldn't be "2 or 3 minutes" but it is long enough that it's possible to restart it too quickly.
