Getting to many points????
Hello,
Probably not what people are complaining about but I seem to be logging much more Work Units and Points than I am actually creating.
As far as I know the only bigger stuff I am working on is with my GPU and I should be getting aprox 1 Unit and about abrox 1300 points every 4 hrs.
I notice that on my stats I have been getting clusters of 5 work units and some 5500+ points.
I do have a slow laptop running f@h but we are talking about 1 work unit and 69 points a few times a day.

Via Kakao Stats (I am UTC -8hrs)
As far as I am aware the only "bigger"(LOL) projects I am working on are:
[07:54:05] Folding@Home Gromacs GB Core

UNLESS the problems with my imac have been resoved and things are plugging along at about 4X its fastest output ever (impossible core2duo) I cannot seem to pickup any new work units for months now.......
Anyhow, I only want the credit that I am producing. Ya, I am old fashioned that way. ;o)

Re: Getting to many points????
I also confirm i have received many more points than expected. During the outage i completed one P6901, three or four normal SMP WUs and less than ten GPU WUs. No extra large ones (P6903, P6904) were completed (they were all under process). I was expecting a total credit of about 130-140K and yesterday i received over a million points. No XXL WUs completed/submitted yesterday as well. The discrepancy is huge.
I'm afraid that either some XXLs which i completed just before the outage have been double-credited or i have been awarded points that belong to some other fellow folders , which is pretty unfair. Well, both assumptions are unfair but the second one is even more. I don't want to obtain the reward of someone else's effort.

Re: Getting to many points????
It's just points. I'd be more upset if the science got screwed up during the outage.

Thats OK I am short about 500,000 you can have them.
2 - SM H8QGi-F AMD 6xxx=112 cores @ 3.2 & 3.9Ghz
5 - SM X9QRI-f+ Intel 4650 = 320 cores @ 3.15Ghz
2 - I7 980X 4.4Ghz 2-GTX680
1 - 2700k 4.4Ghz GTX680
Total = 464 cores folding

There you go. There's a good idea. Let's all start a point trading system, just to shuffle things around. We can be all like "Hey I've got a GTX 580, let's start the auction at 450k"Grandpa_01 wrote:Thats OK I am short about 500,000 you can have them.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.

I knew that ... which is why the posts are still there. Not everybody reading them would know that, though.spider220075 wrote:We're just jokingbruce wrote:Sorry, this website does not support hardware to be sold or traded.
