Yes.Is this consistent with what donors see?
AFAI can tell no WUs from the outage have been updated but the current ones look good.

Correct, I am getting credit for all WU's completed when the stats server came back up but I am missing almost 2-3 days worth or credits.kasson wrote:As best I can tell, current WU returns are getting credited, but some of the ones were not recorded during the outage haven't shown up yet. I believe Dr. Pande is on top of this already, but our logging system is fairly extensive, and I am running a quick analysis to pull work unit records that were not recorded due to the database outage. I will then forward those data to Dr. Pande.
Re: Stanford Network Issue
New stuff being recorded here fine, as for stuff from the outage nothing yet.
The stats from this period are probably lost forever, no matter its the science that counts right?

Re: Stanford Network Issue
For those of you with lists of missing credits, listing the projects (or better yet, just a list of servers involved) might be helpful to confirm the data that Kasson is collecting. Full details of PRCG is not required, at this point.
Absolutely not. I guess you didn't read the previous post from Kasson or the News Blog.Teddy wrote:The stats from this period are probably lost forever ... right?

Re: Stanford Network Issue
No way am I going to know what units went up, completed, over 3 days. I'm not over bothered- just interested in the technical side of 'what gives'..
My available logs just cover the last day or two- since results resumed so no help, in history terms.
My units are being returned on completion still and now being credited [see below in log], but the server is still showing as Not Accept as last few days-
So it does seem odd!

Re: Stanford Network Issue
This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody:
There was an important job to be done, and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!

Re: Stanford Network Issue
I'm missing a 6904 and a 6903, possibly a 2nd 6903 and a slew of regular SMP WU, mainly 71xx and 69xx which seem to match the servers that bollix47 listed
Re: Stanford Network Issue
Quick question, are the servers still processing wu's from 12/10-12/13?
If yes, I will be patient.
If no, does that mean the work is lost?

Re: Stanford Network Issue
Sorry for not posting more in this thread, but we have been reading your posts and then investigating what's going on. I think we see what happened and have a recredit going on. It will take a while though, possibly more than a day.
