Folding on VPS ?

Post by Defenc3 »

Hi everybody ! It's my first post here :P

Here's my question : I have a CentOS 5.5 (32bits) VPS with 1GO RAM. Is it possible to install and run f@h 24/7 ? And will it be fast and effective ? Or should I upgrade my RAM ? Thanks in advance.

Edit : Also, what would be the best client for my setup ?

Possible yes, but your hosting company will probably charge you because you'll be using too much CPU time ...

Since VPS CPUs are virtual and shared between multiple virtual machines, you should have a (maybe unadvertised) limit on CPU time used.
