So, okay...

I sometimes spend an hour (ahem. Or more.) just watching my computer fold.

I mean I have all my various F@H software utilities, widgets, gadgets, and apps open; checking my progress and the various other computer processes processing. I visit various F@H websites, but basically, I'm just watching my computer do the work while I ponder it all.

So...

Is this weird?

If not, then are you a closeted Folding Watcher, too? I need help. I need a 12-step program. (buh huh huh huh)

I remember there was a joke going around about "processor envy", but this is more self-hypnosis (if you find it relaxing) or some control need - OCD? (if you're making sure that your machines are ok). One day a psychiatrist will be let loose on the Forum and the Folding@home project will probably grind to a halt!
