It appears that V7 and QD Tools are incompatible. Is this correct?
If so, what are people doing as a workaround?

qd supports v3, v4, v5 & v6 FAH clients, it will never support the v7 client due to the lack of a queue.dat file.
See my comment in the FAHClient V7.1.21 released (1st Open-Beta) thread regarding my plans for v7 support.
Tools using qd to monitoring v6 and older FAH client should adapt to use the Remote Interface to monitor v7 clients.
