The project's actually back to ~5 PetaFLOPS?

Post by Zagen30 »

I just checked the client stats and saw that the client reporting issues have evidently been fixed. I was surprised, though, to see that the fix has meant that the native TFLOPS is up to 4883. I remember the project hitting this number a while ago (like early last year a while ago), but not recently (before the client reporting issues), where the high was ~3 PFLOPS. While I'm certainly not disappointed by this development, is this figure correct?

There was a News posting on 8th November:
http://folding.typepad.com/news/2010/11 ... ystem.html
At that point Native TFLOPS totalled 2399 excluding Nvidia GPUS, which were under-reporting as 329 TFLOPS.
Nvidia GPU stats now appear to be fixed and show as 2416 TFLOPS, while non-Nvidia TFLOPS have increased to 2467, giving the total of 4883 TFLOPS

I know that was the reason for the big increase. I'm just surprised that the increase was that much.

Is there anyway to get Proper Client by OS Archival stats? I'd like to see about 2 years ago (assuming that was accurate)

Wow I'm very pleasantly surprised by the numbers that are currently being displayed. Quite impressive.
