Despite their page being a counterexample of a good website, I managed to find at least some concrete information:
Availability/Reliability results for August 2010: 68303 physical, 198676 logical CPUs (2,9 cores per CPU on average).

From my bad memory I do remember this project, it's been announced years ago and was preceded with the layout of an extensive fiber network.
