130.237.232.140 & 130.237.162.125

Post by anko1 »

I'm having trouble sending a unit back. I'm on a business trip and just changed hotels. At the first hotel, no problem, but at this one, keep getting 401 and 503 messages. I even went to the business center to see if they had a better connection, in case that was it. When I put the addresses in my browser, I get:

130.237.232.140 - The requested URL could not be retrieved....System returned (111) Connection refused.

130.237.162.125 - 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.

Here's the logs from my biz center attempt.

Perhaps also of note: when I did finally pick up a new SMP at this hotel, it's an old A1 on attempt number 9 to get work.

PS - Here's the info on the unit finishing.

Code: Select all

[04:53:48] Folding@home Core Shutdown: FINISHED_UNIT

PPS - the GPU client continues to chug along merrily w/o problem.

From here, http://130.237.232.140:8080 works, but if the hotel's firewall/proxy blocks connections to port 8080, you'll have to find another way to connect. Apparently the port 80 connection on that server is either down or it still needs to be configured. I'll see if I can find somebody who can do something about it.

The collection server 130.237.162.125 apparently has never been configured to respond with an "OK" message. As far as whether port 8080 or port 80 is open, I can't tell.

Hi Anko1/Bruce,

We'll have this fixed in a couple of hours - due to the time difference I'll try to avoid screwing things up royally by changing the server config at 11.30pm since port 8080 still works!

Thanks very much. I guess I should have written earlier. The SMP unit went home about 4 hours ago.

Port 80 should now be working on these machines. Please let us know if you have further problems.
