PM's?
How long does it take to go from OutBox to sent when PM'ing other forum members?
Re: PM's?
As far as phpBB software is concerned, the answer is zero. Messages in the OutBox have not been opened by the recipient. When they open it, it will be sent.

Re: PM's?
Gotcha,
Just wasn't sure how it worked as most sites send the message right away.
Thnx

Re: PM's?
Perhaps other words might have been chosen in English. The message has been "sent" immediately (meaning that it's in their inbox) but that happens to have a status called "outbox" and the "sent" status means "opened"

- Hardware configuration: We always run folding under linux, as it never seems to have a detrimental effect upon the system.
I just don't trust Windows that much, but we'll see about running folding under it some soon. - Location: Texas

Re: PM's?
I agree with Bruce. The nomenclature is not intuitive, and in fact counter to what email programs commonly use for folder names. I kept thinking something was not quite right with my account, and had to search for this thread to reassure myself that my message had indeed been sent.
