Same problem we had last year with some WU's. Here's the log excerpt:

Maybe my math is off (no coffee yet today ), but that looks like 14 GB not MB, right?

The number is still 14 MB. Why is this WU size problematic?

Umm, no

I wouldn't say that 14MB is particularly unusual for an SMP WU.

Please note in the v6 client, the BigWU option has changed. (small, normal, big) = (<5MB, 5-10MB, >10MB) So 14MB isn't much more than 10.

I'm seeing 17 MB results with some SMP beta WU ... I've already seen 25 MB results (2651 I think) and even 100 MB results (2650 but it was a bug, and the WU became 2651).

edit : for classical clients, p1487 also generate huge results files (~17MB)
