Something I have observed: The # of points for my team is greater than the sum of each user: my team has two members and neither of us returned WUs this update according to Kakaos, but our team was awarded 1,810 points. http://kakaostats.com/t.php?t=171641 (at the 11:00 UTC update, beyond this note the disparity between the sum of the 24 hour totals of the two users and the team 24hr total...

Has anyone else noticed this?

Does this mean the 1,810 points were some of the WUs being recovered from the back-up system? Is the reason they're not being attributed to any particular users, but to their teams a result of issues between Standford's systems & the stats dbs (ie kakaos etc)?

Would be helpful to know!

Though some WU for me are starting to post, things are still way behind and do not seem to be getting better :( Most of my machines( 6 in total ) are 10 to 20 WU behind. I certainly hope things start to become better here in the near future or I might start to lose interest here and have them start to do other things....

It's very rare for the points not to get credited at some time or other, I can only think of one occasion in the several years I've been doing this. I'm about 15-20k points down but I'm confident that it'll be sorted fairly soon :)

My current work is being credited. I figure it'll them a week to put the missing work in by hand.
Proud to crash my machines as a Beta Tester!

Last time it happened it took stanford nearly a week to put all the stats in. Don't lose interest just becuase of a glitch in the system. Stanford are in the process of rolling out new server hardware to help cut out network problems. I'm still waititng on my points as well, the most important thing to remember is that the work wasn't lost and therefore we didn't all waste time and money for nothing.

You mean it's not just about the points?

I'm in this for the long haul. I have self-serving motives that have absolutely nothing to do with points. it's better to help people trying to help you than complain, feel helpless, and become embittered.

The points do represent the degree to which we're contributing. But it there's anything I've learned from chronic illness, it's to be patient with others as well as myself.

Some things can't be changed.

Yet.

Hang in there everybody!

Far as I can tell I haven't gotten any of my points from dearing the down time.
Matter of fact I have upped my production of PPD dearing this time by adding more rigs, plus other things.
My normal 40 to 50K PPD avg is now only 34K & with the new additions & changes I made it should be more like 65K PPD avg now.
I'm not seeing that reflected in any of the stats updates.

Me neither and I also added some more video cards...

Patience, grasshoppers. Nothing at the PG moves quickly. As it was pointed out, the last time this happened, it took a week to get sorted. Everyone is in the same boat, so it's not like anyone is being disadvantaged. Be happy there is at least productive work being fed to your rigs.

Believe me I know nothing moves fast with PG I have got so disgusted over the years that I changed DC projects when it gets to bad, but always end up back here  Hopefully the new servers will help change a lot of this. I was more of less just agreeing and letting them know nothing yet.

I had written off some units after a major server outage a few months back, but they were credited several weeks later.

You really do need to be patent. I'm sure any science your rigs have done will get into the system if at all possible ... and that's what we're here for - no?
