Hi. I have downloaded WU 1740, p1740_1740_BCHE_NAT_300_03. (R4, C86, G0). Does anybody know the points or due date?
Thanks,

Re: What are stats on WU 1740?
It's worth 2137.6 points and it's an uniprocessor big WU ...
I don't know the other details.

I has a 28 day deadline so it probably has a timeout of about 18 days.

Downloaded 6/27/2009, FahMon is estimating a completion of 7/23/2009. That's a problem. I will move it to a better machine. Thanks for the answers.
Re: What are stats on WU 1740?
CAUTION:
When you move a WU to a "better machine" you do run a significant risk of not getting credit. The Pande Group has been adjusting some security settings and while you used to be able to start a WU on one machine and return it from another, the new standards may prohibit such manipulations. If possible, move it back just before it is completed.
Be sure to read the WIKI documentation for sneakernetting. Arbitrarily moving WUs can give you duplicate assignments, too, for which you will get no credit.
On the other hand, you may have no problems at all . . . this time.

i.e. with the security updates, WUs will need to be uploaded with the same Machine ID and System ID with which it was downloaded. As far as I can tell some servers have been updated, some not, yet. So as Bruce said, it might work, it might not. So just to be safe, be safe.

So, if I copy the entire folder as is, that gets me the same machine ID [1]. If I copy the UserID field from the registry to the other machine, is that the machine ID you refer to?
If it is such a risk, I will set the flag to ask before connecting to the internet, then move it back when all processing has completed. Right now FahMon says completion by July 7, 2009 7:03 AM. I would consider that an improvement, and within the 18 days deadline.
Thanks for the heads up.

Re: What are stats on WU 1740?
Sorry, I have been more clear. Machine ID is the 1 - 16 values set in the client setup. Yes, copying the whole folder gets you that one, as it is stored in the client.cfg (on Windows clients). System ID is the value set in the Window Registry. User ID is your fah user name. Though the servers don't seem to care if you download with one user name and upload with another. Or team number...
