Post notification glitch

I received an email about a response to a post, but when I clicked on the first link, I was notified that I'm not authorized to access that forum. When I clicked on the second link ('view the topic'), I got sent to my post, but there hadn't been a response for quite a while (it's scrolled to page 2). Just wanted to let someone know in case it symptomatic of a serious problem with the system.

Thanks, Uncle fungus. Somehow I didn't connect it to the other posts about spam.
