Re: feature request: optional EUE verification by the client

This made me think if EUEs are handled automatically now is it implied that in these cases the hardware is not at fault ?or Perhaps the possibility is estimated in. When done manually imo it was a good way to test hardware "in practice/in the field" + contribute to the project (as opposed ...

Re: Project: 2665 (Run 3, Clone 446, Gen 42)

Not sure if following (as i understand it) any use for your Qfix probs; 1) You might need the latest version (of Qfix) to work with V6 clients - see half way down following linked page; http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=191&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=60 2)The very least Qfix ...

Project: 2665 (Run 2, Clone 650, Gen 55) 'EUE' ?

Failed at the same point on both my sister machines (well same % progress anyway the slightly higher spec one (in my signature) got through a few kbs more of the WU looking at the logs. Have just Qfixed the result; LOWER spec Machine; [03:42:30] + Processing work unit [03:42:30] Work type a1 not eli...

Fah MASS EXODUS

P5-133XL, you have a valid point. If people viewing your team stats come across an offending/obscene name, they would have thoughts about your team and possibly this entire F@H effort. A puzzling question then. How many people have been turned of to F@H for the cause due to offending/obscene names ...

Irritating Minority quirk - tolerance goes BOTH ways

So, if the user actually had an ID of ButtSex it would still be legit? Now that is so strange. There are plenty of youths who are under the age of 13 that are folding for several of the teams out there. These minors will be reading other members IDs who are folding with them. It would be strange th...

Project: 2665 (Run 3, Clone 325, Gen 45) ERROR 0x7b

I've looked but i couldn't see it listed by anyone else so i'll have to find out from you if i need to do more testing/checking for problems at "my end" or not ; Since it did a VERY EUE (just over 1%) on my main machine it was more convenient than usual to test it out on basically the same...

It's not clear from your post what Project/Run/Clone/Gen was involved with the long 1-4 interactions error you had at 57 percent. Was it Project: 3062 (Run 3, Clone 26, Gen 1) or perhaps Project: 2652 (Run 0, Clone 430, Gen 44) ? As a general rule, we don't encourage restarting from a backup becaus...

Project 2652 (Run 0, Clone 430, Gen 44)

Edit by -b: Split this topic off from one associated with a different project. (See 2nd post below.) I've just had the same issue and i thought posting my FAHlog (pasted from Fahmon - great tool imo) could potentially be of use to others/project overall ?(despite how small a possible contribution,i...
