Re: Only getting bad work units.
Windows update may have upgraded nvidia driver without providing all the components required for folding. Have you tried installing the most recent nvidia driver directly from nvidia web site? Looks like nvidia just released an update on 2/28. GeForce Game Ready Driver Version: 531.18 WHQL Release D...

Re: CUDA Update to FAHCore_22
Suspect your issue with the older cards is related to the old driver 390.138, but there could be some other issue too. My Kepler 650Ti Boost is able to fold with core22 v0.0.13 using CUDA on Ubuntu 18.04 with ppa driver 450.66. My Fermi 550Ti and 450 are able to fold with core22 v0.0.13, but CUDA fa...

Re: How can I use F@H for stress testing?
@Bruce. Do you think a cpu wu started on AVX could be finished on SSE2 or vice versa?

Re: How can I use F@H for stress testing?
A CPU wu will run on the same or less thread on intel CPU. Suspect that also applies to AMD CPU. Do not know if CPU wu started on intel will run on AMD. A GPU wu will run on the same GPU model made by different suppliers, as long as FAH software identifies them as same. Best to finish all work in pr...

Re: How can I use F@H for stress testing?
Set up linux and gpu driver on a dedicated disk. install FAH and configure. (initial cpu work unit will run on a single thread, unless a FAH cfg file is already existing in the correct location). Then use the portable disk for testing on the other machines. The work units need to assigned, downloade...

Re: How can I use F@H for stress testing?
Small SSD or HD with linux client. Connect the linux drive to the test machine using the internal sata or an external USB adapter. Sounds like your default setup would have nvidia driver with a CPU slot and GPU slot. You could have copies of FAH cfg files with various scenarios, multi boot or severa...

Re: Tiny projects killing PPD on big GPUs
Have you confirmed what species the "system" section at the beginning of the logs shows for your 2070/2080Ti cards? Re-installing the client over existing files may not have replaced the GPUs.txt file. A few minutes ago, I deleted one of my GPUs.txt file and it took about 5 minutes for a n...

Re: Tiny projects killing PPD on big GPUs
The RTX2080Ti and RTX2080 were reclassified to species 8 recently. Don't know about the 2070. If your log I'd showing species 7 for those cards and you have the newest GPUs.txt file (today's version), you may have to restart the client (reboot) to get the changes to affect the next assignment.

Re: Tiny projects killing PPD on big GPUs
Make sure you have most recent version of the GPUs.txt file. Delete the existing copy and the client will download a new copy within a few minutes. In windows, GPUs.txt is located under the user in AppData\Roaming\FAHClient.

Re: No upload of finished projects to 128.252.203.4
p13816 is also on 128.252.2014. I have been catching p13816 on slots with no client-type flag set (blank). None currently in progress, but successfully returned a few with 6.44 MB uploads earlier today, about 7 hours ago.

Re: Fahclient won't upload WU without me.
By the way, Bruce, I'm folding fine and this line is in all of my log files: 2018-04-18:00:09:29: OpenCL: Not detected: Failed to open dynamic library 'libOpenCL.so': My linux setup includes a fix for the opencl index. Not sure if it will fix your issue, but has taken care of the gpu index issue on...

Re: Dual Nvidia/Radeon Setup with an issue...
My overclocked 750Ti make ~80K ppd with linux client. Suspect that the 250K observed on 750Ti was the cached value from wu previously running on the RX470. When the card was removed, the wu was moved to the remaining slot and the last known ppd value will be reported at startup until enough steps (s...

have not had any issues getting core_17 projects on a pair of GTX750Ti with windows XP32, client v7.44, driver 364.72, client-type=advanced, max-packet-size=big. mostly 1046x with occasional 9201.
