Ditto, has been off/on the last cpl days on both semi-dedicated 24 core workstations - since late last night totally off...
I could get it back folding last cpl days by closing / re-opening client, now it's a no-go, nada, zilch...
Just an FYI

Re: Project 10085 Failed (48 core system)
Also got same error and fahcore crash on vanilla setup 16 core system - Project 10085 (Run 2, Clone 31, Gen 7). As someone else voiced - it's a constantly ocuring problem that I dont have time to repeatedly deal with it - I miss the past few months where I could set it and forget it. Thanks, *******...

Re: Project 10085 Failed (48 core system)
10084 (Run 4, Clone 429, Gen 0) and also 10083 of various types - everything else runs fine.....
24 core system - the other lower core count systems I have are all humming along.
In all cases FahCore crashs and logs: FahCore returned: UNKNOWN_ENUM (-1073741783 = 0xc0000029)

Re: QOS Settings for Router to limit FAH network impact?
Then sounds like IP's would likely be ur best bet (altho imperfect as Bruce pointed out). Check http://whois.arin.net/rest/org/STANFO/nets and http://fah-web.stanford.edu/pybeta/serverstat.html and try to organize into blocks with subnetting (if ur router allows this) Check ur router manual to see w...

Re: QOS Settings for Router to limit FAH network impact?
FAH couldn't really do anything with QOS since most data is DSCP 0 which is default and there is no lower setting, but u could implement a slider for bandwidth usage I guess, similar to GPU usage slider in older 6.23 GPU client (I haven't messed with any of the new clients). That would be pretty eas...

Re: QOS Settings for Router to limit FAH network impact?
Your VOIP traffic should be set to DSCP 46 (EF) which is highest, this is a default setting for VOIP traffic. It's probably not being classified properly and thus being lumped in with the rest of the trash. Your router's manual would be a good place to start, then maybe your ISP can help. VOIP shoul...

Re: Bigadv points change
Rather selfish the way they treat the folks that support them Ultimately it's human nature that's responsible for this. Since Donors aren't compensated with a reward that's truly worth anything (what is the value of a "point" anyways?), they must eventually be regarded as slave labor, and...

Re: P6900 unable to upload
Disable any host-based firewalls or AV - I have seen AVG block FAH's uploading in the past...
If it still happens after that then I would guess it's some sort of ISP filtering...
Wouldnt hurt to power cycle ur router either...

Re: Too Mucho!!
yea but only HW I ever bought for folding was 2 Nvidia cards (9800 GTX+, 9600GT) - and that was a mistake that I regret. Both cards failed and had to be replaced (MSI 9600 multiple times), altho they are working fine now for past year I must admit Stanford "emphasizes" Nvidia heavily and I...

Re: Too Mucho!!
Last I read doesnt FAH/Gromacs have issues scaling that high? (the 48-cores thread) U'd better have another DC project (or two) to pick up the rest of the slack. Personally unless ur using the rig for something else like business I dont see the point in a setup like this other than for geek pr0n - j...

Re: Where are my the points going?
If u have AV or SW FW's make sure they are not interfering. I had issue where AVG Free would occasionally hold up XFER back to Stanford, and also if u have SW FW such as PeerBlock they can block .EDU addresses and block upload if u launch them after u have DL'd WU. Of course sanity check w/ Browser ...

Is there anyway to get Proper Client by OS Archival stats? I'd like to see about 2 years ago (assuming that was accurate)
