Re: Frame time of more than 90 minutes for 16722 WU, after restart due to bad allocation.
I suspect you had a video driver crash that caused the bad allocation error, and the video system reinitialized. Apparently it also corrupted the checkpoint so the WU started over from the beginning. However the reinitialization of the drivers went, the client and folding core could not detect CUDA...

Frame time increases from 75 seconds to 90+ minutes for 16722 WU, after restart due to bad allocation.
My GPU is doing Project: 16722 (Run 262, Clone 2, Gen 458) , which will take more than six days to complete. The Timeout is three days. It completed 83%, before the bad allocation occurred. Since it restarted, it's taking more than 90 minutes per frame, up from 75 seconds before it restarted! 15:01:...

Re: 18492 WU's will expire on RPi4B
Oh, another question, just to make sure: are your RPis running Linux? Yes, Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm. Ok, we finally got to the bottom of the constraints. You should not be getting any of these projects again. However, if you receive some other project which you cannot complete in time, please let u...

Re: 18492 WU's will expire on RPi4B
These are from one machine. I finally received a 12417 WU at 05:35:12Z on 03-Oct-2024. 10:48:02:WU00:FS00:0xa8:*********************** Log Started 2024-10-02T10:48:01Z *********************** 11:06:55:WU01:FS00:Received Unit: id:01 state:DOWNLOAD error:NO_ERROR project:18494 run:5 clone:43 gen:42 co...

Re: 18492 WU's will expire on RPi4B
This is ridiculous! When will RPi4B's stop getting 18490-4 WU's that I just have to repeatedly dump.

Re: 18492 WU's will expire on RPi4B
My RPi4B's are once again receiving 18490-4 WU's, which my RPi5B's can complete in time, while my RPi5B's are receiving 12417-9 WU's, that the RPi4B's can complete in time.
I assume that the constraints of 18490-4 WU's have been set to the default settings again.

Re: 18492 WU's will expire on RPi4B
I continue to receive 18490-4 WU's on my RPi4B's, which cannot complete the WU's before the Timeout. Is there any way to prevent RPI4B's receiving these WU's, as I currently have four machines without a folding slot, as they keep getting 18490-4 WU's? I've also set other machines to finish, so they ...

Re: WUs 18490-18493 exceed timeout on a Rasperry Pi
... try checking their completion rate. The app is also there to do that... Is this app available to users, and if so, where is it? The Bonus Status - https://apps.foldingathome.org/bonus - is about as close as possible to that. It lists how many QRB eligible WUs have been downloaded vs. how many h...

Re: 18492 WU's will expire on RPi4B
I will continue my crusade to educate people about the folly of using a potato farm for distributed computing. Please invest in a small number of modern 8-16 multi-core computer, people, please. I've learned over the last 4.5 years of folding that it's way more efficient and productive. Why not jus...

Re: WUs 18490-18493 exceed timeout on a Rasperry Pi
Some of your WUs are being returned late and end up being sent out to be run by another user. Three examples just from recent days: https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu?p=18494&r=10&c=49&g=1#project=18494&run=10&clone=49&gen=1 https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu?p=18494&r=16&...

Re: WUs 18490-18493 exceed timeout on a Rasperry Pi
Others have stated that RPI4 was too slow to complete Folding tasks long ago. It's time to retire or repurpose this hardware. That's not true. I have completed more than 4,000 WU's on RPi4B's. The current problem is that WU's that shouldn't be assigned to RPi4B's, are being assigned to RPi4B's. Tha...

Re: WUs 18490-18493 exceed timeout on a Rasperry Pi
I got a couple of 18490 WU's that have the same timing as above. They'll be dumped.
