I personally do not fold for the points. I use the points to determine how well my machines are working or if there is an issue with one of them.caintry_boy wrote:Well here it is Tuesday, 9/6 2:30pm CST and still no updates...no wonder so many are quitting.

Re: Need help can't connect to any server
Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
I checked the sever stats and both the severs are working. Try this type the sever IP into the address bar of your browser and see if you get and OK. The IP you want to check is 128.143.48.227

Re: timeout unit of measure
Different client have different timeouts. The uni-processor has the longest of all the clients. Right now my uni has a deadline of 59days 18 hours and 44 mins, it will be done in 2days 18hours and 14 mins. GPU deadlines are fast usually a few days SMP is the same as the gpu with fast turn around. PS...

official 1823
Kakao 1818
EOC 1818
So Stanford is the lowest so I would not know why they were the lowest for you.

Re: Any point to uniprocessor folding?
Hi,
Yes uni-processors are worth folding each client has it's own "value" for the project. Each client provides a piece of the overall puzzle, no client can do all the calculations that are needed. That is why there are different projects for different platforms.

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
HI,
For those clients that hang and get "Possible clock asynchrony detected!" goto preferences and check the box for ignore asynchronous clocks and that will fix the problem.
