I got a passkey but apparently, I am losing all my so far earned credit points.
Any way to keep the points?
Thanks!

Re: Inconsistent credit counting at stats page
Hello and thanks for your replies.
I am using Ubuntu Linux for the folding.
Any idea how to limit processor speed there?
As for the cooling, I use a good Noctua cooler and fan.

Re: Inconsistent credit counting at stats page
Hello,
many thanks for your reply.
No, I am not using the GPU folding, only CPU as my PC would be to hot to survive.

Inconsistent credit counting at stats page
Hello, I see huge disconnects in counting the credits on the stats page for my account compared to the credit estimates given for a specific work units. In detail, on my Ryzen 7 5700G I get for some WU credit estimates of about 200000 points. When the WU finishes, the final credit estimates is more ...

Re: OpenCL not starting on AMD iGPU
But I also confirmed now that the old kernel is unstable for the computations with the latest version of fah or the distribution of Ubuntu.
So, any ideas to get Ubuntu working with fah with GPU support on the current kernel?
Many thanks!

Re: OpenCL not starting on AMD iGPU
I digged into it a bit deeper and it seems that the new opencl driver on ROCr and ROCm do not work with folding@home.
I installed an older version 20.40 with pal as mode for opencl and the old kernel 5.4.0-54 and this works perfectly with opencl.
Lets see what the AMD guys say.

OpenCL not starting on AMD iGPU
Hello, I had to do a new fresh install of Ubuntu Server 20.04.3 LTS on my AMD Ryzen 7 4750G Pro. To enable the utilization of the iGPU I chose to install the ROCm packages which were recommended in another post of this forum. The install went well and after some reboots the output of rocminfo clinfo...

Re: Unrealistic WU for AMD iGPU
Thanks for the answer.
Looks like no way to wrok around this except for killing overwhelming WUs.
BTW: There have been no beta-packages of the software for some time now. Don't they develop it any further at the moment?

Unrealistic WU for AMD iGPU
Hello, I have been folding for some time now and also bought a little PC with the AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G CPU which now works quite well. The folding on this CPU for the CPU part works quite well, but the folding on the integrated GPU, which up to now was o.k. now gets an issue. For some about a week ...

Re: WU taking too long on Odroid N2
I just limited the cpu usage to 4 cores and now the client stays within the limited and it seems that the WU is now much faster. Apparently now only the high-power cores are used for the fah client

WU taking too long on Odroid N2
Hello, I am new to this forum although I have been folding for about a year. Now I stumbled about an issue with one of my workhorses which are folding. It is the above mentioned Odroid N2 with Armbian on it running the folding client 7.6.21 on all cores for some time now. Nevertheless for the last f...
