Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
I have uninstalled Turbo LAN, PLC Utility, GOG.com Downloader, Picasa, CDBurnerXP and Flash Player. So far, it does not seem to have helped. But at least Turbo LAN came with a driver of its own, so after a reboot the situation may be different now. Smart Switch is a software to update a Samsung Gala...

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
I just turned off Kaspersky Antivirus completely, and there is no difference. The download itself works (but takes about 20 minutes on a 400M line), but when it should conclude, it stalls.

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
This is bad. But I have now seen that hung downloads seems to be a rather common problem. FYI I have just upgraded the GPU from a GTX 1050 Ti to a GTX 1660 Super (at least partially because the other GPU could not process the WUs fast enough). I want to contribute here, but I certainly don't want to...

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
I'm going to try a complete uninstall. Edit: That did not help. It takes about 20 minutes to download http://cores.foldingathome.org/win/64bi ... ore_22.fah to 99.54 % and then the download stalls. Now the core folder looks like this: C:. └───cores.foldingathome.org └───win └───64bit-avx-256 └───a7-...

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
The download continued until it showed 99.79 % at 09:24:25. After that, no additional message is given about that core. Connecting via Hotspot does not change that. The exe file for the core is already there. Here is a result from "tree /f > tree.txt" in the core folder: Auflistung der Ord...

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
Today the WU was finally gone and a new WU was assigned (Project 11747). Unfortunately, the GPU still doesn't fold but is marked as ready. The newest log file is as follows: *********************** Log Started 2020-10-13T08:29:08Z *********************** 08:29:08:Trying to access database... 08:29:0...

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
That did not work, I'm afraid. The work folder is not recreated, but there is no visible change in the UI.

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
No, it has not. GPU does not fold any more. The WU has expired, and the client doesn't care. Instead, it thinks that the expiration is in 2^64 seconds. I cannot manually reject the WU, and so GPU folding is no longer possible for me.

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
Yes, I did that. That did not help, though.gunnarre wrote:Hi, the correct directory that should be excepted from antivirus blocking is
%APPDATA%\FAHClient
Did you do that?
The folding cores get downloaded to the "cores" sub-directory.

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
There is no change regarding the GPU slot, not even a new download.
Edit: The time that is shown as left is almost exactly 2^64 seconds.

Re: Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
Even after setting an exception for the directory, the GPU doesn't fold. But what is really strange is that the WU should be expired by now: https://i.ibb.co/PZ187pD/Screenshot-2020-10-07-194921.png wo kann man dateien kostenlos hochladen Instead of registering that the expiration date is a few days...

Project 13424 (Moonshot) very low PPD
Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but I have come across a very strange situation in Project 13426 - the GPU doesn't fold, and the expiration time has suddenly gone to 584942417355.06 years.
