4070S hitting 12m ppd on stock settings and Windows10. Massive improvement over 4070 for the same money.

if it's any use to you, testing my gpu has caused it to fail completely. I think it has been failing for a few days and is now gone entirely.

getting a Windows DPC Watchdog Violation. If I have the logs open at the moment of failure it's showing as a CUDA error before it freezes. No changes on my end. Computer is 100% stable if folding is paused. no overclock. single watercooled 1070. no cpu folding.

Your 4070 alone should be getting more than the 3.5m you get with win11.

Seems there may have been two manufacturers of the NVidia-supplied adaptor. One of these is apparently linked to the failures, no way to tell which one has been supplied so far.

In winter when folding-electricity's waste output of heat helps heat my house, I run all my rigs at full speed and at proven stable overclocks (GPU only). In summer, I tend to remove the overclocks and even turn off some cards. All depends on your ability to pay the bills.

Agreed, this is not a driver or OS issue.What's consistent is that a failure stops the client instead of it just getting a new work unit. Pausing doesn't work, the whole client needs to be restarted.

I'm getting failures on this project as well including Linux machines that do not update Geforce drivers automatically. Restarting the client/machine starts folding successfully again.

broke my coolbits and can now only OC one card. every time I do anything with this machine it gets screwed up

Hmm, on Mint 18 for this folding rig. Only seems to allow upgrade to Nvidia-430 which is very old. Done that but getting BAD UNIT on every unit.

Do I have to upgrade my OS?
