Re: 128 threads and low PPD
Just curious, would this setup be a good example of defining 2 cpu slots with 64 threads each (or even 4, 32 thread slots)?

Re: Client cant't download the next WU
First thing I would check is start a browser and verify that you can actually reach the 129.32.209.201 server and there's not a network issue. If you put that address in a browser (both port 80 and 8080), it should pull up the work server banner page. I'm able to pull up the banner page on both port...

Re: How do I stop FAHClient from adding an unwanted GPU slot
Linking this with viewtopic.php?f=108&t=36488 as this thread describes a better way to add the option instead of directly editing the config.xml file.

Re: GPU: Not possible to complete in time limit
The manual way is to remove the gpu slot from the config.xml file and add <gpu value="false"/>. I think the best way is to open advanced control from the system tray, pause your folding, remove the gpu slot and save, and under the expert tab, add an expert client option with a name of gpu ...

Re: One system not reporting to stats despite still being ac
I think without a username, it goes under "anonymous" "You can also choose not to have a username and just donate your CPU time anonymously (user name = anonymous)." All is still there, just in a big pool. So if you do want to track your donations, I would use a username and pass...

Re: One system not reporting to stats despite still being ac
One thing to check is go to https://apps.foldingathome.org/cpu and enter your username and see what the last wu's for all your folding processes look like and that all the cpuid's are accounted for and are current and the returned status is ok.

Thoughts/Opinions MMR vaccine
Hello, Had an interesting discussion with my doctor this morning about an off label use of the MMR vaccine that they have been using at the local hospital/clinic for a while now and their own results have been very interesting among the health care works. https://www.globenewswire.com/news-rele ... ...

Re: I disabled FAH at startup, can I enable it again?
If fah is not running at windows startup, you can go to settings, apps, startup and see if the program hideconsole is there and enabled. This is the startup program for fah. You can also view the status or re-enable hideconsole from the task manager tab startup.

Re: How do I stop FAHClient from adding an unwanted GPU slot
One thing you could try is remove the gpu slots and add <gpu value="false"/> to the config.xml. This may keep it from being readded.

Re: How do I stop FAHClient from adding an unwanted GPU slot
If you add pause-on-start true to the gpu slot, that should stop fah from running on that gpu. I use it for the cpu, but I assume it would work the same for gpu.

Hello,
Here is a good place to start: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=23475
It seems that the locked issue usually points to two 2 copies of fah trying to run at the same time.
