That lines up well with what I saw when I tried to compile the driver from nVidia. Let me give that a shot tonight and see how it goes. Thank you sir!

Re: GPU disabled after recent update
Aha! I got a little more out of it. I turns out that the system did actually fall back to the nouveau driver. I tried switching to nvidia-390 and got this: libnvidia-compute-390 (not installed) failed to install/upgrade and a little bit further, I got this: trying to overwrite shared '/etc/OpenCL/ve...

Re: GPU disabled after recent update
@Joe_H - Thanks for adding the code tag; I should have thought of that. @bollix47 - Thanks for continuing to look at this. I've tried using the Additional Drivers applet to no avail so far. According to it, v390 is running and working. I get errors if I try to switch to 418. I also tried downloading...

GPU disabled after recent update
An update to Ubuntu 22.04 just broke GPU computing/rendering for FAH. The proprietary nVidia X server (390) is in use, but FAH can't seem to work with it anymore. Everything was working fine just before the update. There's not much in the way of error messages in the log, but here it is: ***********...

Re: client V7.6.13 or V7.6.21 ?
That's good info; it sounds like this may have been an accident, maybe someone unintentionally pushed out an old page/configuration. If that's the case, can they fix it?
On the other hand, if there was a reason for the change, what was it?

Re: client V7.6.13 or V7.6.21 ?
atir, foley and toTow are correct; all download links currently point to 7.6.13, not 7.6.21. I noticed this when I recently downloaded the Linux and Mac software. I remembered downloading .21 previously and was surprised that all the links were for .13. I had to manually dig through the download ser...

Client doesn't communicate with remote FAHControl unless I'm logged in
Here's my current setup: Client: Ubuntu Linux 22.04 FAHClient 7.6.21 Control/Client: macOS 10.15 (Catalina) FAHControl 7.6.21 FAHClient 7.6.21 FAHViewer 7.6.21 The client is running fine; it's running as a daemon and processing 24/7. However, in order for FAHControl to connect to the client, I have ...
