Neil-B. Sounded plausible with counts as I had dual GPUs. Exactly like I said: "when things happen after an upgrade -- it's usually the upgrade [and any changes the user made before the upgrade] that caused it." :) OK. So I paused, edited slot count from -1 to 4 and started folding again. ...

Note: One other thing I did do (sheepish apology) just before I upgraded. My GPUs are not on the white-list (older AMD Radeon HD 6700 series [Sapphire]) and were never getting any work. In looking at other entries in the forum, I learned that they did not support CL 1.2 and would never get work. So ...
