100.8 GFLOPS at double
403.2 GFLOPS at single precision
808.4 at half precision (16 bit)
I suppose the overall performance would depend on the ratio of doubles to floats. It would be a weighted average and probably dependent on the actual project.

Re: 3 fails in 24H Proj 13404/5
Nice to know that the problem is likely at the project level. Will keep an eye on these.
Edit:
From HFM logs
Project 13404, 3 total, of which 1 failed
Project 13405, 10 total, of which 2 failed

3 fails in 24H Proj 13404/5
Just a heads up that there may be some problems with these projects. All 3 returned as failed 5/14/20 (UTC) 13405, 132, 37,0 -- 5 fails https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#proje ... e=37&gen=0 13404, 808, 56, 0 -- 4 Fails https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#proje ... e=56&gen=0 13405, 818, 81, 0...

Re: GTS450 too old for folding?
Gotta say this is a huge UI problem. Connecting to a private network because your card isn't supported is strange behavior. Client should be explicit in saying that the card isn't supported.

Re: Add Intel Iris GPUs to GPUs.txt?
I know for instance that my Intel HD 530 should be capable of 100.8 GFLOPS at double precision. Puts it on par with many low to mid range nvidia cards. There is a lot of power just going unused. :/

Re: Work units stall at 99.99% Windows Vista 7.6.13 cx_freez
Given the age of the machine (~10-15yrs), your freezing is as likely to be related to failing hardware as anything to do with folding. I would do a few standard checks on your hardware. Check the hard disk - Download the free utility from your hard disk manufacturer, if you aren't sure, seatools fro...

Re: Add Intel Iris GPUs to GPUs.txt?
I would love to see what the task manager says when you try to fold with the Intel under Windows 10. The GPU columns (you may have to enable that column) on the process tab and the performance tab for the GPUs.

Re: Cooling Questions
Thermaltake water cooling for main cpu, runs at about 50c. Stock cooling for my 3 gpus in this unit, they run in the 60s to 70s. My old laptop... that's a bit more comical. I've got it partially disassembled and sitting on top of a box fan. Even so it runs in the 80s. Without this jerry-rigging, the...

As far as the research with covid goes, there's at least another five years worth of that. So I'm not going away too soon.

Re: I can not make 2 differnt AMD cards work in one machine
It woulda been nice to know you'd gotten into Windows. It's probably only one thing at this point. BIOS setting that enables the onboard video. It's probably set to AUTO. Try forcing it to be always on, then plug your monitor into the onboard port. Let's get this thing making a picture at least and ...

Re: I can not make 2 differnt AMD cards work in one machine
PS Unit is a Corsair HX 850, so there should be ample power. There is one last thing to check w/r/t the PSU. Your model has a feature that allows each individual rail to be limited to 40A. Your two cards together can draw up to 34A. While this seems adequate, if there is something else sharing the ...

Re: I can not make 2 differnt AMD cards work in one machine
PSU seems adequate. We haven't got it to POST, so drivers don't come into play just yet. That leaves BIOS updates and settings.
Edit: it can still be the PSU, but that would imply a partial failure of the unit itself.

Re: My ranking keeps getting worse
Just means some people are pulling more PPD than you. I'm relatively new, so I move up by about a thousand spots per day for now, but in the long term, there will be more people who can pull more PPD than I will be able to, and so it will slide. In the end, this is fine.

Re: I can not make 2 differnt AMD cards work in one machine
The HD7970 can draw up to 250 Watts and the RX 5500 XT can draw up to 150. Have you got a power supply that's capable of that, plus about another hundred for the processor and a bit more for the rest of your components? I'd say 600W (which is a lowball estimate) or higher.
