Re: F@H pausing itself?
I upped the GPU voltage by 6mV to 963mV@1801MHz and its been stable for ~50WU over the last few weeks. So apparently my perfectly stable GPU wasn't as perfectly stable as I had thought. Interesting that F@H seems to be more sensitive than any other usage.

Re: F@H pausing itself?
Heat is not indication of instability ;) ? I didn't say it was. High loads and temperatures are often the cause of instability and I was simply explaining that neither of these are an issue with my setup. The fact there is a stability issue is obvious. I'm trying to figure out what the cause is. Ot...

Re: F@H pausing itself?
The waterblock has pads for the VRMs. I can overclock the GPU and game for hours with double the power going thru the GPU without any heat issues. Your points all a decent guesses at possibilities, but the fact that the setup ran perfectly fine for 5 days straight without issue would seem to indicat...

Re: F@H pausing itself?
Yep all the latest drivers. My 5700XT is watercooled and underclocked so it can run all day at 100% and hardly get above 50C. Stable should be the one thing it does well at this point. Also it doesn't explain how it could be unstable for a few days, then perfectly stable for 5 days straight, and the...

Re: F@H pausing itself?
The odd part is that I didn't change anything and it went from 23 consecutive complete to 22 fails out of 24 WU.

Re: Old GPU struggling to not get cut off by newer GPUs?
I'm not worried about it, I was just curious. The last 3 days have been good with no fails and 11 completed. Funny that 'lootsmurf' and 've6jhc" are users in the screenshot above. Those are 2 of the 3 users that are frequently listed as failed in the logs for the WUs that I complete. Is there a...

Re: Old GPU struggling to not get cut off by newer GPUs?
Looking at the WU my GPu does complete, its funny to see that I'm always completing it after the same 2 other users failed. So there are apparently 2 people out there with slower GPUs than me.

Old GPU struggling to not get cut off by newer GPUs?
Looking at my WU list, I can see that my 5700XT often has several failed WU in a row. Sometimes after a few minutes of run time. Sometimes after a couple hours. I can see from the WU details that it was then complete by a much faster GPU. It's understandable that the F@H system would try to get WU d...

F@H pausing itself?
When I come back to my PC in the morning, F@H is often paused even though I left it running. 'While on Battery' and 'Keep Awake' are both checked.

Re: How to select preferred 'cause' to work on?
Thanks. I found the 'cause' option in the account settings by clicking on the avatar in the upper right. No luck under machine settings. Though I may be blind.

How to select preferred 'cause' to work on?
Just switched to 8.4.9. Seems to be working. I don't see any spot select preferred 'cause' type to work on? Is that no longer an option?
