random re-assignment duplicating work?
Can someone help me understand what may have happened here? This is not my system but I was just looking at some random PRCGs when proj 12442 with a timeout of 1.5 days seems to have reissued a wu to someone else after only 19h9m? https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#project=12442&run=15&clone=...

Re: Newbie questions related faclient access and fahcontrol
Hello, i'm not exactly an expert here, but on my debian system I think this ( https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/fah-control/pull/70 ) is what I used to get a working FAHControl going. There are some posts down that thread that describe what the commands for ubuntu are. Sorry I can't help with your ot...

18435 stuck on Ready 0%
uh-0h, looks like it's been stuck in this loop for over a day. 6-core CPU only in archlinux. tried pause/unpause, and rebooting, Looks like its still stuck. Advanced control showing TPF 55 sec but the Folding slots area is blue, stuck at "Ready" and the cpu isn't doing any calculations ***...

random reboot, weird time at start of log
new rtx 2060 been folding fine as stock for the past 6mo. Not sure what caused the sudden reboot while on the web (maybe power surge as other pc seems to be offline). I had to reboot a couple more times for FAHControl to see the Fahclient, but looking at the new logs, the initial 100 lines always se...

Duplicate work?

win10 system clock bonkers
i was messing around in the linux portion of a dual boot for a few hrs, and when I got back into windows and started folding, it took me a while to notice my clock was showing UTC for some reason. I had to manually hit the "update now" to time.msft button in the windows time & date set...

Re: In-depth donor history?
Buuuh, i do not think there's a way to get the pure folding times u are looking for unless you personally do the work yourself of combing thru your own log files to pull that data and subtract out any total paused times. I would use times between 0% and 100% then get the points from the stats page u...

Re: Titan Xp
a great way to compare is to do a general search for "1080ti Lars Folding" which should in most cases return on the first result a web page that has lots and lots of stats on hardware. You can then do similar searches replacing 1080ti with any of the RTXs of interest and see the general ov...

Re: Quadro 6000 6gb low PPD?
wow... i almost bought a quadro 6000 thinking it was a quadro RTX 6000. This thread was the start to me questioning things that lead me to find that there's actually a big difference! I had the pleasure of using the latter via Linode's cloud services last year. the $100 credit let me fold 13.5 mil p...
