Re: FahCore returned: CORE_OUTDATED (110 = 0x6e)
Thanks for the replies. I indeed have another GPU folding, so that is probably the reason then. I will update if the suggested solutions do not work.

Re: No WU available: why are so many people still folding?
Covid caused a huge increase in people doing folding@home, which is cool. But I don't understand why they're still going. Shouldn't they have given up by now? People generally give up on new things after a short time. The level of dedication I'm seeing confuses me. Damnit, new people. Give up like ...

FahCore returned: CORE_OUTDATED (110 = 0x6e)
Hi all, I'm experiencing an issue that I haven't run into before. Maybe anyone can help to see if it's anything to be "worried about", or maybe can easily be fixed....? 00:32:47:WU01:FS01:Started FahCore on PID 15816 00:32:47:WU01:FS01:Core PID:248 00:32:47:WU01:FS01:FahCore 0x22 started 0...

That is actually a really good point. I hadn't thought about that.

Re: New WU after Finishing
So let's say all my slots are idle due to lack of WU, I hit Finish and leave my computer. It's possible that 3 days later, I come back and find the client folding anyway? That doesn't sound right. (I'm not saying that that is exactly what I would do, it's just a hypothetical situation.) The whole id...

New WU after Finishing
Hi, I am going to be on the move for some time later today, so I hit the Finish button to finish up the work that was busy. At that time, my two GPU slots were "Ready" and my CPU slot was at 80-something %. A bit later, I noticed that the client did download a WU for the GPU slot. I don't ...

Re: Can't upload to 140.163.4.231 again
Been having issues here for a day or 2 now. I would like to know if there's a way to delete the finished work if the deadline has passed. There is no sense in putting load on the server to send work that will not be taken into account, as I understand it. Here the logs: Config **********************...

Re: BSOD Windows 10
Just a small update here. I downloaded the Whocrashed tool and it gave me some useful information. Issue was indeed GPU related. FAH was not to blame, however, as suggested, higher workload probably did make the crashes occur more often. I finally managed to update the drivers for the GPU, with a ne...

Re: BSOD Windows 10
I have no opinion regarding a possible virus, but that would not be my first guess. Be aware that FAH is designed to use ALL of the unused computer resoruces that you're willing to donat. This tends to create more heat than the computer would if it was just waiting for you to type something or to m...

Re: BSOD Windows 10
Okay thanks for your replies. Funny enough, I just had it again (for the first time in over a day, it's very irregular) and I was only folding on CPU at that time. Because it's a unexpected shutdown, I can't access the log files? (Unless I'm not looking in the right place?) I will look into the Furm...

BSOD Windows 10
Hi all, I'm fairly certain there is no link between my issues and F@H, but I wanted to check here, just to rule it out. I have been getting BSOD on my Windows 10 laptop that I use for folding. It hasn't really started as soon as I started folding, but I'm checking all possibilities of recent changes...

Re: Send Errors - 155.247.164.213 & .214
My clients can't connect to .214, so it is down. Are we able to switch servers so we can fold ? Or is waiting the only option. I would be interested in this as well. Instead of trying again and again to connect to a certain server, every try coming with longer intervals, is it possible to leave tha...

Connection problem 18.218.241.186 & 155.247.164.214
I've been getting this for about 12 hours or so now? It's setting me up to connect to two servers, but both seem to fail. 08:48:16:WU00:FS00:Connecting to 65.254.110.245:8080 08:48:17:WARNING:WU00:FS00:Failed to get assignment from '65.254.110.245:8080': No WUs available for this configuration 08:48...

Re: GPU working at 4%
Thank you both for your helphul comments. I did both of these things and managed to see my GPU performance was actually upwards of 90%. I guess I won't be able to speed things up even more, but I will be doing all I can.
