THanks for your explanations, I've managed to get a remote control system of my own with your guidelines. It had been more and more pressing as I've got both the opportunity to start doing part of my work from home in the future, and to get my hands on one of these houses in Greece for the holidays....

Awesome, good to know then. The fan sound isn't the biggest issue out there, it's annoying but not critically problematic either!

+1 on the Corsair PSU's, it's what I've been running for some time now and it's been entirely successful for GPU folding as well as for other uses of the computer (games, mostly).
