If your laptop can disable the NV GPU when switched to battery, you know why it can't access it anymore ... do you still see it with GPUZ ? You misunderstood. The laptop doesn't disable the GPU, the F@H client has a laptop setting to pause folding when unplugged so it doesn't toast your battery imm...

Started folding again about 3 weeks ago and things were going smoothly until about 4 days ago. Had a small power outage and since then my laptop gpu hasn't been detected by folding (gpu is working). Seems odd since the outage shouldn't have affected anything with the option to pause folding when on ...
