P6040 CoreStatus = 8B

I picked up Project: 6040 (Run 0, Clone 129, Gen 31) which EUEd straight away with a CoreStatus = 8B (139). The client tried again and is currently folding the same unit with no errors so far. Has anyone else encountered this error? [18:28:15] Trying to send all finished work units [18:28:15] + No u...

Re: 171.64.65.54

I was able to get another unit. To be fair this is the first time my SMP machine has been starved for work in quite a long time. Running the latest linux version (6.29)

Re: List of SMP WUs with the "1 core usage" issue

I encountered two:
2671 (R24, C41, G91)
2671 (R49, C98, G84)

These have already been reported in this thread by two other folders.

Thanks uncle fuzzy, I didn't notice the small compressed data size.

edit: I reported these in the "List of SMP WUs with the "1 core usage" issue" thread.

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

On the first run of FahMon after the computer has started up I consistently get the following pop up: Deleted stale lock file '/home/david/.FahMon__LOCK__'. This is unique to the Linux (Ubuntu) version, I've never seen it on my Windows box. I should also add that it only occurs after startup, if I s...

That way you could keep all the old posts which might turn out to be useful.

Re: Sub-forum for released Linux 6.02 client?

Does this mean that the Intel MacOS X & Linux Beta SMP client v6.0 forum will go or be locked? Doesn't make much sense keeping them active.

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

It turns out it wasn't the firewall. I compiled it again and It's repeating the same behaviour and I've tried numerous firewall options including disabling firewalls on both sides. I did run gdb though although now FahMon is hanging rather than crashing. The 'Downloading New Projects' window appears...

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

Since you're on Linux you can probably help debug this. Compile FahMon again, make sure you do not strip the binary (by default it won't), and then launch FahMon through gdb with gdb fahmon Then type run, hit enter and see what happens. If it crashes again, can you send me the output from gdb as th...

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

Hi, I came across a weird issue. I had FahMon setup on my Ubuntu 8.04 box and added a third client to monitor on another computer. When I added the location of the third client FahMon crashed and FahMon now crashes as soon as it starts up, the only error it produces is 'Floating point exception' whe...
