Re: Rejecting from WS 155.247.166.219 [also CS .166.220]
Misery loves company next WU finishes in 6 min. Other machine sent WU to different server ok. I forgot one step that Bruce mentioned: Reboot! (The classic "have you tried turning it off and then back on?") No, but will do in 2 minutes after watching next WU finish. Previous "hung"...

Re: 171.67.108.35 Server did not assign work unit
Thank you for the replies. How it got to a Beta WS I have no idea, but it's going now. The 4-core 8-thread machine has now been assigned a WU by WS 171.64.65.99 and is folding PRCG 7808 (2, 85, 98). It took off with SMP:7. I used the Web Control interface to switch is back to FULL, 8 threads. The cl...

171.67.108.35 Server did not assign work unit
For two days server 171.67.108.35 appears to have stopped assigning WUs to 8-core machine. Server Stats http://fah-web.stanford.edu/pybeta/serverstat.html show that server is ok. Clean (re)install of 7.3.6 has the same problem with the same server. 16-core machine on another server is fine, both OSX...

Re: 130.237.232.141
Same thing. Switched one machine to v7 last night. Just now deleted queue.dat and ./work (rm -rf work) and restarted. Got a 6099, 16 cores busy again.

Re: Leaving bigadv (OS X wine)
Fast enough? Is less than 2 days for a 6900 WU ok?. 2 x Xeon E5520 cpus with eight physical cores with HT runs as 16 cores under GROMACS. 130.237.232.141 - Leaving bigadv (OS X wine)
Leaving bigadv as OS X running wine cannot seem to return completed WUs. Even with both computer and router firewalls turned off the uploads fail. The SMP WUs do upload through my firewalls without any difficulty. As there are no error messages, I cannot diagnose what the problem may be. [Edit: regu...

Re: 171.67.108.22
Glad that the WU was completed by someone and the science done. I tried restarting the client to force another delivery with Firewall off and trashed the 2685 and the 6900 that was being folded. Cleaned up and doing another 6900, dang.

Re: CS woes !?
Has anyone noted success with the Windows 6.34 client automatically switching back to the a5 client from the a3? In the past I've always done this manually. Right now my machine is churning through a3 SMP WUs. Is there a way to know when the bigadv WUs AR available again? Thanks. [Edit] Yes is the a...

Re: Problems receiving work from 130.237.232.141
Same hang under Wine. No response from SMP work server. After about an hour FAH6.34 fetched FahCore_a3.exe and is folding small stuff. Added -oneunit to client.cfg and will try for -bigadv later.
