I was surprised when I grabbed 12423 on my 5900X. I've allocated 12 threads to folding, TPF of 13m12s .
Came here to check on it.

I just had a 5900X die...... F. It was a few years old, but still! 18213 will have the highest PPD and 18723 is a Cancer and will have some of the lowest PPD. If 7.5mil is my lowest, I'm pretty happy with that. I didn't realize the 5900x was even that old, but I guess it is slightly over 2 years ol...

and then I get something like 18213 (33481, 1, 25) that runs at over 14mil PPD

I did see better performance after that WU finished. I had paused to restart a few times during that one as well. Normal range is 8-9 mil so far. I've also got it set to "quite" mode, so not sure if that's going to affect folding much. Thanks all, I'll let it run back to back sometime when...

I recently upgraded to a 5900x CPU. Is CPU folding still needed? What are the best settings for it? Right now, I'm just using the same 9 thread config from my old 3800x. Should I do something like 15 / 9?

Hmm, mine might be a configuration issue. Somehow I have more GPU slots now than I have GPUs. I've removed the offending ones and will try again.
