Re: Quad 1080Ti + ASUS X299 + F@H > DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
Foldy, bruce, thanks for your constructive feedback, very much appreciated. - Regarding thermals: * There are 2 PLX chips ( PEX8747 ) under the same heatsink as the PCH (X299 chipset), which means the temperature of the PLX chips cannot deviate much from the heatsink's, which is measured in real tim...

Re: Quad 1080Ti + ASUS X299 + F@H > DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
Hi foldy, toTOW, Thanks for your responses. Here's the info you asked for: - Already using the latest UEFI/BIOS firmware and drivers from ASUS's and NVIDIA's web sites. - I've already gone through the common problems and solutions for dpc_watchdog_violation. None of these appear to be relevant to or...

Quad 1080Ti + ASUS X299 + F@H > DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
Hello, I've used F@H on a system with Quad 1080Ti + ASRock X99 WS + i7 6850K, for several months without any major issue. I recently upgraded motherboard+CPU to ASUS X299 SAGE WS + i9 7900X and I can't run F@H on all GPUs, as in this case the system freezes for 1-2 minutes before it crashes to a BSO...

Feature Request: Specify Start and End Times
Hi, It would help increase usage of F@H if I could set Start Time and End Time. The F@H client would only retrieve new jobs after the Start Time, and stop retrieving new jobs if such jobs cannot be completed before the End Time. As soon as jobs are completed or, in worst case, when End Time is reach...

Re: UNSTABLE_MACHINE resets GPU at ~1.51%
It does seem that Project: 7660 (Run 1077, Clone 0, Gen 188) is an unstable WU. I've reported it and presumably it won't be reassigned after 8am PDT tomorrow. Unfortunately the software can't distinguish between defective hardware and problems with the data. FaH is still trying to compute 7660 (Run...

Re: UNSTABLE_MACHINE resets GPU at ~1.51%
Bruce, the FaH client tried to recompute project 7660 (Run 1077, Clone 0, Gen 188) and reached 41% before failing, while the previous attempt failed at 36%. I don't know how FaH operates and I am wondering, if the unit is faulty, is it normal to fail at different points? 7im, my CPU is running at ma...

Re: UNSTABLE_MACHINE resets GPU at ~1.51%
Update: Running FaH on the GPU connected to the (more) stable PCI-E slot also resulted in an UNSTABLE MACHINE error. It did not appear as early as it would on the "unstable" PCI-E slot. I am attaching the Log file, in case it helps: *********************** Log Started 2013-09-14T18:16:38Z ...

Re: UNSTABLE_MACHINE resets GPU at ~1.51%
By filtering the Log entries per "Slot", I found that only the first GPU is exhibiting the problem. Notably, the second GPU and the CPU did not give any errors. I run FaH using the following (one GPU at a time) configurations: 1) 1st GPU card on 1st PCI-E slot, 2nd PCI-E slot empty Produce...

Re: UNSTABLE_MACHINE resets GPU at ~1.51%
Many thanks for your responses. I have now run Windows Memory Diagnostics utility (extended run) and did not find any issues. The previous log was automatically deleted. I let FaH run overnight and found lots of errors in the morning, but it's too long to fit into a forum's message (over 60000 chara...

Re: UNSTABLE_MACHINE resets GPU at ~1.51%
I think I'm dealing with the same problem. Any help would be appreciated. The machine is based on i7 860 (stock clock), 2 x MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr (stock clock), 4 x 4 GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM Here's the Log: 05:21:12:WARNING:WU02:FS00:FahCore returned: UNSTABLE_MACHINE (122 = 0x7a) 05:45:04:WARNING:WU01...
