Expiration is 9/13 at 11:10.

Do I get a new project at the expiration date? I stopped folding on this project, because I did not think there was any point folding if I knew I couldn't get the project done on time.

I would suggest that you set the client to use two threads and run in full-mode. Then let the current WU finish and the next WU fetched should be a multi-CPU WU. If you need to adjust the CPU slider to make sure that your laptop doesn't overheat then that's fine but do not expect it to work the way...
