I'm having the same issue, same servers, and it's been happening for a while. I occasionally get a WU, but they are few and far between.
Any love for the CPU:32 Windows folks?

CPU FAH core with AVX support? Mentioned a while back?
Back in May on the official FAH blog, it was mentioned that a new CPU Gromacs core was in the works and should take advantage of the AVX instructions. Many processors now support AVX and AVX2 is also becoming commonplace. Any word on when we will see folding@home CPU work units take advantage of the...

Re: Empty work server assignment for CPUs
Same here. Both CPU and GPU slots are down - no new WUs are being given.

Re: Windows CPU30 failed to get assignment
Just an update - As of yesterday I've been pulling down an abundance of Project 9752 (A4 core) on my 32-CPU slot. They are relatively faster WUs and I've grabbed dozens of them by now. It seems the supply problems for high-CPU Windows clients is fixed.

I spoke too soon - I haven't received a work unit in days... ugh!

Re: Windows CPU30 failed to get assignment
Just for the record, my computer has been VERY seldomly pulling down WUs since my last post, until today. Early April 25th I have seen a steady stream of high-count CPU work. It might be a fluke, but it's been a good day for science.

Re: Windows CPU30 failed to get assignment
Just to echo the OP - I've for 32 cores and might pull down a single work unit in a day, leaving my CPU idle for the rest of the time.
Installing Linux in a VM is always a work-around, but is there a reason why fewer WUs are being generated for heavy-hitting CPU hardware?

Re: WU 8825 Run 0 Clone 5 Gen 354 server responded WORK_QUIT
Here's some further odd behaviour with WUs 8817 and 8821. Could it be linked to the number of cores trying to be used? It just keeps failing and then the server refuses to send new WUs. 18:01:52:<config> 18:01:52: <!-- HTTP Server --> 18:01:52: <allow v='127.0.0.1, 192.168.1.0/24'/> 18:01:52: <deny ...

Re: WU 8825 Run 0 Clone 5 Gen 354 server responded WORK_QUIT
Thanks for the feedback guys. Here's the system info. This is a 24-core / 48 thread system configured with 32 CPUs in the FAH client. I prefer not to run the NACL client on this machine because there is a performance loss on those WUs with this many threads, divided up so much it's less efficient th...

Sounds great, thanks so much for looking into this. I'll report back if I encounter the WU again, but I haven't seen it all day.

Re: Project 10424 failing repeatedly?
Thanks Joe,
As far as I can tell, my system has never made any progress on this work unit, ever. Every time I encounter them, they fail immediately.

Project 10424 failing repeatedly?
Hey Folding@Home folks, I've had some odd behaviour in my system for a while. It appears that Project 10424 simply will not run on my machine, hitting EARLY_UNIT_END as soon as it tries to start. Here's my log: 13:25:43:WU02:FS01:0xa4: 13:25:43:WU02:FS01:0xa4:*------------------------------* 13:25:4...

Re: Is GPU folding more valuable than CPU folding scientific
Thanks very much for the thoughful response PantherX! I complete agree that the sceintific value of individual simulations are equal (or at least impossible to compare), but the question was more specific to the platform the simulations are running on. If I understand you correctly, a CPU has no adv...
