Besides which I've sourced parts at Newegg for the build and all told it comes to right about 1300 bucks. Less than my Intel build. So for less than a new gaming desktop I can have 4 cpus and 4 video cards all folding in one box. =)

At least if it didn't work, you'd have somebody you could talk to about the BSODs. The BSoDs occur only on my desktop machine and only while trying to run 7.2.9. Thanks all for all of your help. At least I know I'm folding with my vid card and it has CUDA drivers installed. I still want to know why I could not install the latest CUDA drivers from the nVidia website, but at least I'm contributing with all of my hardware.
