Re: Any success with Windows 10?

I only fold GPU so I can't say anything about CPU WU's. I have a GTX 970 running latest at the time drivers (353.62) with Windows 10 RTM and it's working perfectly. I also see no noticeable difference in PPD. As far as the 3 updates released so far for Windows 10. That has pretty much nothing to do ...

Re: GTX 970 - Folding slot fails repeatedly 347.09

...I use Remote Desktop regularly to go back into my machine from work or another system at home... Can I ask what OS version you are using? I have Windows Server 2012 R2 running with a AMD HD 7870XT and I'm folding on that box. I remote into that box all the time and don't see an issue. When I had...

Re: Empty work server assignment:

yep... seeing the same thing... My Linux box with a GTX 670 is getting Core 17's. My Windows box with an AMD HD7870XT is getting Core 17's but my Windows box with a GTX 970 is not. Looks to me that something is wrong with the assignment server, the work server or an intentional change by PG that has...

Just to confirm... Core 18 still doesn't work with this driver.

Re: Nvidia GeForce 347.09 beta driver

Updated to 347.09 and there is no difference with a Core 17 9201 WU on a GTX 970. This is a good thing! :D Getting about 250K PPD on the 970 for Core 17 's. Need to wait until I get another Core 18 to see if anything has changed there. Would be nice to at least get 200K PPD but I'm not holding my br...

Re: Help - Low PPD Amd 7950

The PPD should be significantly higher than 1.2K but you are not going to get 75K-100K PPD on a 7950 either. Not having that specific card I can't give you precise numbers but I think your expectations are way high. I'm sure someone that has a 7950 will speak up. I'm running an HD 7870XT (clocked a...

Re: future core 17 WU?

Before today:
2 GTX 670's
Windows 8.1
7.4.4 F@H Client
client-type=advanced or beta
nothing but core_15

Today:
Setting client-type=beta (yes I'm on the beta team :) ) now gets me Core_17 . 3 new core_17's have gone beta with the new nVidia slowdown fix.

Re: future core 17 WU?

Are donors still seeing lots of Core15 on Kepler? We made some AS changes some time ago and thought that issue was resolved. When I fire up my 2 GTX 670's all I ever get is Core_15's. I usually only ran the GPU's on the weekends/holidays (lower electricity cost) but I've stopped even doing that now...

Re: Best F@H System in PPD for $1000

Seeing how PG is still releasing Core_15 WU's I would not recommend getting an NVIDIA GPU. Unfortunately that leaves AMD GPU's that are not only hard to get but have had their price marked up due to coin mining. Kind of like a rock and a hard place but right now GPU folding is the way to go......

Re: GTX 670's not pulling Core_17 anymore

If that's the case then that's pretty disappointing. I don't mind folding some of these older WU's (make them equal weight) but at just about 25% of a Core_17 WU's PPD it's not worth the electricity cost to fold them full time. I'm hoping that this is just a bug in the assignment server.

Re: GTX 670's not pulling Core_17 anymore

:-) thanks for the response but the question that I'm asking is does anyone see a reason for why my AMD GPU is getting Core_17 with no interruption but my NVIDIA's are not.

Has something changed on the server side that would cause this or is there something wrong with my config?

GTX 670's not pulling Core_17 anymore

Hello... I have 2 GTX 670's. I'm running Windows 8.1 RTM along with NVIDIA drivers 326.80 and 327.23 (have tried both of these). I'm also running the F@H Client 7.3.6. The GPU slots are configured with client-type=advanced. This setup has worked before with Windows 8.1 preview but now when I fire up...
