Hello pals. It's very simple run (I won't use install term here...) folding at home in a lot of distros without, even, supported ones. When you download the package, centOS, debian, or RPM ones, the principal files are there. Any extractor of them will show you, in some folder, the "fahclient&q...

Re: [Solved]Having issues folding on Arch linux
On arch, even on custom kernels, install video driver AND opencl-XXXXXX driver, where opencl-nvidia or opencl-radeon (if I remember) Just opencl makes f@h comunicate with hardware. On custom drivers, coming with custom kernels, it's not necessary compile opencl.... just the driver, where if you use ...

I update often, will latest kernel + nvidia blob work fine? And does gpu-client in background affect desktop perf...

Re: Two tips of folding on arch linux. GPU and CPU
good news... Execute the "nvidia-xconfig" and, at least for me, don't need install over the installed driver.... once, on arch, you created 10-monitor.conf on /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d nothing about screen resolution are affected. But, create a backup before this command. folding at all now. an...

Don't folds on arch linux {AMD Driver Issue}
Hello pals. Good evening. On arch linux, you can install f@h client by aur, or just download any version of this (debian, fedora, centos) and execute manually (what I do) Even with "gpu=true" the client don't uses the gpu. I've set "cpus 3" setting, cause I've a phenom X4, but do...
