Re: GTX 1660Ti Compute Performance
Lately it's been averaging 678k PPD overclocked (when I'm not using the PC) because I'm getting 14180's (705kPPD) and 13816's (624kPPD) almost exclusively. Out of the last 22 work units, six were 13816, Fourteen were 14180's, one was 14146 (755kPPD) and one was 14178 (780kPPD). My real world PPD (si...

Re: GTX 1660Ti Compute Performance
Been folding on a new EVGA GTX 1660 Ti XC Gaming card for 11 days now and thought I'd share my results here. I'm very impressed with the results as far as PPD per Watt of electricity goes! My results have been recorded using HFM Note: some of the results from this first set are with the card at fact...

Re: 13201 (Run 41, Clone 14, Gen 8) Bad
I doubt it's a driver issue, but I can't rule it out. All FAH projects run a "sanity check" periodically designed to terminate projects containing errors (the idea being that if the simulation is going to explode soon or be discarded anyway, it's a good idea to abort the run before it was...

Re: 13201 (Run 41, Clone 14, Gen 8) Bad
Not a bad WU, it has been completed by another folder: Hi ******** (team ******), Your WU (P13201 R16 C6 G12) was added to the stats database on 2016-11-16 02:08:33 for 74881.7 points of credit. Interesting that it failed 3 times in virtually the exact same spot. Wonder if it could be a driver issu...

No credit showing as of yet for p9210(r32,c0,g0)
Both projects that completed AFTER this one finished, have shown up in stats, but the points for this work unit are still missing ??? 00:44:10:WU00:FS01:0x21:Project: 9210 (Run 32, Clone 0, Gen 0) 00:44:10:WU00:FS01:0x21:Unit: 0x00000003ab436c685796c0eebd7b045e 00:44:10:WU00:FS01:0x21:CPU: 0x0000000...

Re: Blog post: "Unified GPU/SMP benchmarking scheme ..."
Sure, but I was reacting to your statement that you were not sure Kepler would ever reach Fermi levels. Kepler pulls good PPD even without the optimizations from what I have seen (there have been reports of some Kepler cards outperforming equivalent Fermi cards for some projects as well). With full...

Re: New core = significant production drop GPU
It'd be ideal to have a hybrid core, where multiple optimizations could be contained. Support for new architectures could be added as needed, without affecting older GPUs. I don't see that happening from a single core. As new technologies come about, it be comes increasingly difficult to "full...

Re: Project: 7623 (R4230, C0, G109) - High TPF
Interesting that GTS 450 is outperforming the GTX 460.. Is that 460 the SE version? if so, it can indeed be outperformed by the 450's. Under core version 2.25, the absolute worst frame time I received on the 7623 with my first generation GTX-460 with 256bit memory bus & 1GB GDDR5 was 9min 38sec...

Re: New core = significant production drop GPU
If kiore I believe the answer is that for 762x WU's PG requires the 2.25 core, for any other they do not, the core will not be changed by the servers on any WU other than the 762x WU if you never get a 762x WU the core will not get changed, so that says to me that the 2.22 core produces the same qua...

Re: New core = significant production drop GPU
Related question, I'm seeing people on several team forums saying to just dump core 2.25 and go back to core 2.22 if you're on a Fermi card. Just wondering if PG has an official stance on this subject???

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=22869 same project, same type of problem, different RCG. Fortunately, they seem to be few & far between. In the past 3 months I've had a total of 3 of them. For now, just have to live through them & report them... hopefully the programmers will eventually figure out ...

Re: New core = significant production drop GPU
Logs don't forget or get confused, at least not normally... eVGA 560Ti FPB only 1,600ppd better than GTX-460??? I don't think so... I think you want to remember it doing about the same, in reality, that card should have been runing at least 16,000ppd on the 8054 work unit under core 2.22. Hell my GT...

Re: New core = significant production drop GPU
Okay, I'm running 2.25, and my ppd only drops on certain units. The 6 and 7 series are poor, the 8's are normal. Not that I don't belive you , but can you post logs to support this??? I'm seeing the same drop in 8xxx series GPU wu's as well. Core Version 2.22 project 8054 - card clocked at 715/1430...
