Re: Unable to upload to server 69.94.66.6
Too late... a good number of my work units expired before this was fixed, so they were automatically deleted and all of the results were lost. Hopefully this extended outage will be reviewed in order to maximise the learning outcomes and to avoid future losses...

Re: Unable to upload to server 69.94.66.6
Just leave the WUs alone in the queue waiting to upload, once there is space on the server the client will upload them. The upload retry should back off to trying once an hour. OK, will do, but the results of at least one "stuck" completed WU here will be discarded as "expired" ...

Re: "Don't know system call group"
Thanks for this, I used the "Curiosity" RPMs as well. Unfortunately, even after commenting out the SystemCallFilter line, it doesn't look as though it's an easy task to run this version as a service - when the FAHClient is run, it doesn't create config.xml in /etc/fahclient, it goes into /...

"Don't know system call group"
I've just installed the most up-to-date client/FAHcontrol on a server running OpenSUSE Leap 15.2, and the client doesn't start. System call filters have only just been introduced in Leap v15.2 so the issue probably hasn't arisen widely yet. A quick grep in /var/log/messages reveals that the service ...

Project 7200 (75, 0, 314) - 100% done - No collection server
The title says it all, really - one of my workstations is storing a 100% completed job and hasn't returned it to the collection server - on looking at the details, it's because the IP of the collection server is 0.0.0.0 - there is no issue with the workstation as it has happily accepted another WU, ...

Re: Updating team record on the Stats server
OK, so I appreciate that this thread has become a boring monologue, but the scripts on the team details update page are broken... I get changing the passord from the new one e-mailed to me by the "lost password" facility, but when I did so I was getting locked-out... the update produced a ...

Re: Updating team record on the Stats server
Aaaaaah! I spoke too soon... I just discovered, through patient trial and error, that the user name is case-sensitive (isn't this somewhat unusual?), and because mine was composed of two concatenated dictionary words that were both capitalised when I registered, that strange arrangement with a secon...

Updating team record on the Stats server
I have a depressingly bad feeling about the likely answer to this question, but here goes anyway... Some years ago, I registered as a team on the FAH site because I had access to a dozen or so PCs that were just begging to be used for the project... Of course, other than keeping the clients up...

Re: 6.23SMP client cannot upload results to any server [port 80]
And, as already stated, all of these machines upload regularly as expected when installed with two non-SMP clients. Nothing else has been changed - just the FAH client version. Well, faced with SMP clients that don't upload any results, and non-SMP clients that upload results with no problems whats...

Re: 6.23SMP client cannot upload results to any server [port 80]
And what happen if you open http://130.237.232.140:8080/ and http://171.64.65.54:8080/ in your browser ? Both give the expected OK . There is a software firewall installed on these machines but not only are they effectively disabled by allowing all outbound requests, they also log the successful co...

Re: 6.23 SMP client cannot upload results to any server
Since the IE settings are use autodetect settings and that is only useful if there is a proxy server somewhere in the line, are you using a proxy server? No, there's no proxy server. I should have explained that I started off with a "no proxy server" setting on all of them - the only reas...

6.23SMP client cannot upload results to any server [port 80]
Bruce, I previously posted as follows to the "Couldn't send HTTP request to server" topic at viewtopic.php?f=50&t=13682 but I see that you have now locked that topic. I'm beginning to suspect that there might be an issue with this client... I see that the original poster's issue doesn'...
