Thanks! Will I be able to run the new client on this 1.3 GHz 1Gb RAM Intel Centrino machine running Fedora 16 with the KDE Plasma desktop?

FAH6 on Fedora 16 with KDE Plasma spin?
Hi, Seems I've taken a disproportionate amount of attention herein, but have been scouting for the best way to salvage this old laptop. Finally (?) settled on Fedora 16 with the KDE Plasma desktop. It isn't perfect, especially in light of the fact that when I attempted to use curl to download the ta...

Time constraints Resolved
Hello all, Aware that there are deadlines on WU's, I would like to suggest that a start date be provided with the WU and whenever the FAH software is stopped and restarted repeat that date so that users can be aware of their deadlines while jockeying their systems around, as I do regularly. Best, La...

Re: Can't install V 6.02 on Ubuntu 10.04
Did you get any feedback or errors when running the tar xzf FAH7.02-Linux.tgz command?
You should see some text scrolling by and then return to the command prompt. Also, the command is: chmod +x fah6
Let me know if you still have trouble.

Re: Can't install V 6.02 on Ubuntu 10.04
7im I'm not certain this is correct - copied from the install guide: user@box FAH $ I definitely had to jockey the commands around and as I recall, it had to do with the fact that FAH appears between the username and command prompt as above. Unfortunately, I wasn't concerned enough that others might...

Re: Can't install V 6.02 on Ubuntu 10.04
If you have ideas for improving the Linux Install Guide, there is a link at the bottom of that Guides page where you can post feedback and suggestions. Following that link did indeed lead me to the Forums, and I assume this is the appropriate one, although it may be better to start a new topic. At ...

Thank you 7im. That's about what I expected, but I wanted to make sure.

Re: Can't install V 6.02 on Ubuntu 10.04
Distoor, Have you resolved your questions? If not, let me know, as I had some trouble installing as well. The instructions are there, but not in the best of order and clarity. First of all, you are suffering from some confusion in that you have a 64-bit dual core processor and may need to revisit yo...

GPU and CPU together???(resolved)
Hi, I have a Pentium II M 400 MHz machine running Ubuntu 10.04. However, this machine will run XP as well, although it seems a bit slower. The machine has the graphics card specified below, and I wonder what my best options are considering all this: 1) I don't have the skills at this time to compile...
